To us its more than just flowers!

Photography by Sarah Babcock Studio – The Dayton Arcade – Nuage Linens – Table Top by Prime Time Party Rental – KMC Weddings If wedding flowers are a top priority for your wedding day, you’ll want to hire an event florist who specializes in wedding work. There are different types of florists with different areas of expertise. Your local flower shop can design bouquets and centerpieces for you, but they probably don’t offer the extensive rental selection a wedding florist does.  Elaborate custom pieces probably aren’t an option. The type of florist you’ll want to work with depends completely on your vision for your wedding flowers! At Floral V Designs, weddings are our passion, and our team has years of experience creating custom designs to reflect our couples. Cady, Lauren or Kim sit down with each potential client to discuss their wedding day wish-list, priorities, and budget. We will create a proposal specifically tailored to that couple. The proposal is just the beginning, however: weddings are productions that require a great deal of time, skill and effort to bring a couple’s vision to life!   Photography by Sarah Babcock Studio – Draping by Unlimited Events – Dayton Arcade Design and Planning by KMC Weddings When you hire an event florist, you’re investing in a product and a service. It all starts with consultations, crafting custom proposals, sketching concepts.  From there we answer questions and changes throughout the planning process. Next we design and set the wedding, flip the ceremony, and tear down the event.  As you see there is a lot of time and skill that goes into making a wedding event! Many wedding florists, like Floral V Designs, are actually floral and event designers. This means we are often involved with the overall design of a wedding, and not […]

Lainy & Blake : A Classic Black & White Wedding at The Hilton Netherland Plaza, Cincinnati Ohio

A classic black and white wedding, held in the “Hall of Mirrors” on a perfect January day? It was everything Lainy and Blake could have asked for and more. They were looking for an elegant and timeless look for their wedding day and boy did they get it! The Hilton Cincy Netherland Plaza created the backdrop for their classic black and white wedding. Between the beautiful tall floral centerpieces and the gold candelabras, we were truly able to bring their dreams to life. The cream and champaign colored flowers created a timeless look to the entire “art-deco” ballroom. The room was filled with gold candles, to help tie the elegance together! Glamorous dresses and beautiful bouquets helped bring the elegance to a whole new level. And let’s not forget about their 6-tier cake covered in over 200 flowers as well, a statement people will surely not forget! Lainy carried a beautiful brides bouquet of mixed white open roses and garden roses, a classic design for sure! Lainy and Blake, congratulations on your wedding day, it was truly timeless! Meredith, David, & Lox at Canopy Creek Farm

Meredith and David were able to focus on their love under a beautiful wooden arch adorned with fall-colored florals and pampas grass, at Canopy Creek Farm. Their love was shared by their family and friends; but the special guest was their dog, Lox. Lox was able to celebrate the fall colors by having his collar adorned in flowers of his own!  Their centerpieces were lovely short pieces which matched the ones on the cake. Who doesn’t love a pop of color as seasons change at a beautiful barn venue? Photography by Brook Townsend Photography Venue: Canopy Creek Farm         Each photo is able to showcase Meredith and David’s special day and shows off their beautiful flowers throughout their special day. Shown are how we are able to incorporate flowers on a ceremony arch, a cake, through centerpieces in a variety of ways, and even with a beloved pet. Each way is just another unique way in which a couple can show their love throughout their big day.

Nicole & Ian: Fall Colors at Mojave East, Cincinnati Ohio

The fall colors at this glamorous industrial venue were able to create the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous couple! Nicole and Ian held their fall wedding at Mojave East, which added to their spectacular color scheme. The bride’s beautiful bouquet featured dusty pinks and purples, surrounded by creams and greenery. The bridesmaids bouquets also featured these colors. This fall color scheme was seen throughout their entire big day, from bouquets, drink koozies, and centerpieces. The industrial venue created the perfect compliment and helped tie their color palate together perfectly. By adding a touch of metal from the chairs to help tie in the gold votives on each of their tables. Three different centerpieces adorned the tables at the reception, each one adding more details to this flawless day. The floating candles of various heights truly were able to add a romantic feel to the industrial reception space, helping to warm it up. Fall colors at a glamorous industrial venue such as Mojave East will always be a crowd pleaser.  Every delicate touch added to Nicole and Ian’s special day created memories that will last them a lifetime! Patterson Homestead

What a summer 2017 has been.  We have been so thrilled to see so many wonderful people tie the knot.  This beautiful wedding took place at Patterson Homestead in Dayton, Ohio.  The bride and groom choose beautiful bright summer colors accented by succulents. The bridesmaids wore seafoam green long dresses and carried beautiful coral charm peonies, blush stock and coral berries with touches of dusty miller greenery. The groom and his groomsmen wore grey suits accented by navy ties. The bouquets were filled with shades of orange, coral, blush, mint green, grey and cream.  Hydrangeas made up the base with stock, peonies, ranunculus, hypericum berries and ranunculus. The ceremony pergola at Patterson Homestead was draped with greenery garlands and fabric swaging. Photo credit to Anna Markley Photography
