Floral PreserVation by Floral V Designs was created after years of flower preservation requests from our clients, so we decided to do the deep dive into freeze dried flower preservation and silica dried flower preservation.
Since our Floral V brand is known for its quality and attention to detail, we wanted only the best for our preservation clients. We spent months and months researching, flew across the country to learn from experts, and spent countless hours experimenting and fine-tuning our craft before we launched Floral PreserVation and Designs in 2016.
Our specialty is wedding flower preservation, bridal bouquet preservation, floral resin keepsakes, memorial flowers, and life celebration flower preservation in the Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Ohio region, and would love to create something special for you!

We are happy to create a mockup of any element that you would like after the contract is signed. Mock ups need to be completed on average 60 days prior to a wedding day as we order flowers 30 days before the event. This also gives us time to make adjustments before the final proposal and before we give commitments to our vendors.
May i see a mockup of the proposed florals?
YES! The price of delivery and set-up is factored into your itemized wedding flower proposal. We offer full service delivery to Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis and Lexington. Looking further - just send us a message and we will see if we are available.
Do you offer delivery + setup of wedding/event flowers?
Of course, we are happy to coordinate with any of your vendors. In particular, we will always ask for your contact person at the venue and your cake decorator if we are doing flowers for your cake. We LOVE working with full-service and partial service wedding planners and designers.
will you coordinate with my other vendors?
Our schedule opens 18 months from the current day, but the average wedding reaches out to us with 9-12 months till their exact wedding day. Our preference is to schedule a preliminary virtual consultation to go over the details of your events. Your final changes to your wedding day are due 30 days prior to your event, leaving you plenty of time to make necessary changes to your flower order as needed.

We source our flowers from local flower farms around the area, as well as other US flowers and even some around the world!
where do your flowers come from?
YES! We call that a Wedding Day Flip. We will come back right after your wedding ceremony is complete and move ceremony flowers to your reception to repurpose in different locations. This often helps not only with sustainability but also helps stretch your floral budget farther.
Will you help us repurpose our flowers the day of the wedding?
Did you know?
Did you know that the average boutique florist can produce over 21,000 pounds of organic material in just one year? All of this is currently going into landfills. If you multiply that by thousands of floral designers nationwide, the amount of waste from flowers is mind boggling. Therefore, we have made it our mission to have a greener footprint in Dayton.
We work with a local landscape company which accepts all our organic matter, that is then turned into mulch and compost. Just think, you could be landscaping your yard with our organic matter and not even know it. How cool is that?!
Another way we reduce waste is by not buying delivery boxes, instead, we up-cycle the delivery boxes from our suppliers into beautiful boxes for your personal flowers.
Our commitment hasn’t stopped there either, we have also replaced the use of paper towels in our boutique and design studio with washable cotton towels. This is how we save the earth from hundreds of pounds of paper towel waste each year.
We also support local floral growers and farmers as much as possible! Not only does this help our local economy, but it also reduces waste flying in flowers from other states or countries. We’ve worked hard to source and support these local growers and have great relationships with them.
While we may create a lot of beauty in this world, it’s also our mission to keep the world as naturally beautiful as possible in the process.
