Great Signage at weddings

As a professional florist, we see all the details that bride and grooms choose to make their wedding day special. One of our favorites are home made signs. Its that extra touch that makes you feel warm and fuzzy; when you read it as your walking into the reception or ceremony.     Here are three pictures we took when we felt inspired 🙂

Real wedding at the Dayton Art Institute

This beautiful bridal party started their pictures in front of the Dayton Art Institute.  The ceremony was in the Italian Cloister and the reception was in the Gothic Room. The bride carried a bouquet of natural dark blue hydrangeas, dyed blue dendrobium orchids, blue thistle and blue delphinium; all wrapped in ivory lace fabric. The bridesmaids held a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white roses, green hypericum berries and green kermit mums collared in variegated pitt greenery. Awesome boutonniere of white dendrobium orchids, blue thistle and dark blue delphinium wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.  Tall centerpiece of white babies breath, queen annes lace and blue thistle; all on a clear glass pilsner vase.  Low centerpiece of white hydrangeas, babies breath, blue thistle all hand tied in a cylinder vase. Thank you to Sarah Babcock Studio for the beautiful pictures!

May 4, 2013 Real Wedding

How could this wedding have been more beautiful?  I am not sure.  From the bride, to her bridal party; the groom and his men; and her amazing horse!!  This little wedding took place on Wright State Universities new Chapel and the reception was at the Barry Room at the Nutter Center. The flowers in the bouquets were a spring assortment of peonies, anemonies, english lavender, lisanthus, garden roses, succulents, hydrangeas, hyacinths, freesias, dusty millers and astilbees.  SO BEAUTIFUL! Thank you to Jem Photography for the AMAZING pictures!

Woodward/Zimmer Wedding May 31, 2013.

Thank you to Annette Ferraro Photography for these beautiful images from our May 31 wedding at Incarnation Church and Top of the Market in Dayton, Ohio. The bride and groom were blissfully happy! The brides bouquet was an amazing cluster of  blush/ivory garden roses, porcelin spray roses, ivory freesias, ivory hydrangeas, ivory astilbee, white ranunculus and blush pink peonies.  The ribbon that held the bouquet together was from the mother of the brides veil and the charm that adorned the front was from her father that is no longer with us.  The little details like these are what set every wedding apart.

Thank you from Sunday May 26, 2013

Cady, Wow is all I can say! The flowers blew me away. The vision we talked about was put to life and I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t see the ceremony flowers until I was walking down the aisle and they were beautiful. The flowers helped make the moment magical. Thank you for all your hard work, I knew I could put my trust in you. Eric and I didn’t want to waste the flowers so we set the left over flowers around the entry to our home and they still look and smell wonderful! Thank you again!

A beautiful wedding in March

These are a few great pictures from a wedding we did in March.  Chelsea was a beautiful bride and chose very elegant bouquets.  She held a bouquet of Picasso, bi-colored purple and white mini calla lilies and her bridal party carried white mini calla lilies; a very sleek and classic bouquet style.  Calla lilies never go out of style!
