Fall, here we come!

With the summer heat and drought coming to an end, we were inspired by the colors of this wedding.  These pictures are from a wedding we did last year on Miami, Oxford campus.  Of course the theme “Fall,” was shown in many places; from the pumpkins on the tables, to the mums and berries and the twigs throughout the taller arrangements, the room was a color explosion of warm earth tones!  What a great overall theme.

Something White

A beautiful bouquet of Vendela ivory Roses covered in white Gardenias.  This bouquet had the most amazing scent!  Can you imagine 17 gardenias?  It was quite sweet.

The bridesmaids wore dusty lavender dresses, all with Ivory flowers.  What a beautiful wedding party!

The beautiful Bride & Groom.

Our bride Farida, is from the Dayton area but she is currently is Medical School in Chicago.  She met her photographer Andrew, of John Andrews Photography and realized he was the wedding photographer for her.  So he made the treck to Dayton, all 272 miles to shoot this amazing wedding!  And wow, was it worth it!  Check out more of his work at JohnAndrewsphotography.com

Floral Color Chart

Wow, What a beautiful display of flowers and color.  I get inspired when I look at picture collages like this.  The depth of the color in the pictures as well as the textures!  It just makes us all “Flower lovers” Happy!

Black Magic, Rose of the Week

The Black Magic Rose is considered the “burgundy” in the red rose family tree.  The petals are dark with a red velvet feeling.  The rose itself, has a large bloom size as well as a strong sturdy stem.  The Black Magic Rose is the second darkest in the color family, only to be beaten by Black Bacarra, the darkest of the dark red roses.
